The contemporary paintings present nature, the daily lives of the Balinese and even tourists. Shades of coal gray are accompanied by vibrant colours. Bali’s Raja of Ubud was known for his fondness of arts and he welcomed foreign artists. Thus Ubud became the centre of arts and home to renowned artists such as Bonnet, Blanco, Snel, etc. Okapi WAG has one of the largest collections of traditional Masterpieces most of which take 6 months to complete one painting.
