Bratin Khan studied painting at Santiniketan and influences of folk art and the Bengal School are evident in his artistic renderings. His palette exudes a light that seems to emerge from within. Bratin’s languid curvaceous figures emerge gracefully from their natural habitation or the world of Indian mythology. His work often features pretty women and is marked for its beauty and balanced compositions. Bratin’s work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.
